I recently purchased two snowflake clowns with the hope that they would eventually be hosted by my RBTA... after several months they have finally started to take an interest in the nem but looks like one of my Bangaii's beat them to it, he chases them off everytime that they come near -- didn't know bangaii's liked anem's

Wow great link.. thanks. Found this in there I had no idea, I am constantly suprised by cool stuff like this in my tank

"When sheltering in anemones and Heliofungia corals, P. kauderni often associates with various species of anemone fishes (Amphiprion) and anemone shrimps (Periclimenes), and with several species of Apogonidae"
:fish2:

Also, he does certainly hover most of the time but will also drop all of the way down INTO the tentacles too -- didn't know they were immune to the sting. Strange that the anem doesn't just eat him (or the clowns) my RBTA has a fairly strong feeding response will very very quickly collapse on any food that finds its way in

:)

My LFS has a pair of Banggais who breed like bunnies (seriously, I think they could single-handedly repopulate Indonesia!) in one of their huge display tanks. The babies all shelter in various LPS and SPS colonies, including Heliofungia, Euphyllia, and Seriatopora; in large clusters of Xenia; and even in a large feather duster worm. My juvenile Banggai is from one of those clutches, but hides in some tall, feathery macroalgae (Caulerpa ashmeadi) in my tank, instead of the BTA...the ocellaris got there first. :D

I always wondered why my bangai is hanging out with clowns and Rbta..his mouth is basically touching the bubble and he stares at it for hours..i thought he is special lol..good to know that I am not the only one

My bf's bangaii hangs out most of the day in the middle of a tree of different torch corals, and chases the other bangaii away from his "home." It's really cute :p Glad to know our bangaii isn't the only one who thinks he's a clownfish. lol.

Now if we could just convince the 6 line wrasse that he's not a clownfish as well.......
