Anyone the Apex PMK PAR meter

according to BRS , Apex is using :It is the same sensor that is used with the Apogee MQ-210, so no need to double test. ;-)

I like mine a lot. Beyond doing light setup. The Apex meter can do things the others have a hard time doing. I keep it zip tied to the return to monitor PAR over time. Useful things like knowing when to change bulbs is handy. I've been trying to decide just how long I should leave my MH's on compared to the T5's and I use it for that. I also enjoy comparing graphs and understanding how light affects water chemistry. but... It's definitely not a must.

It's quite useful, thought not a 'must'. I have to clean the sensor about every week to keep the reading accurate.

I could definitely see the benefits of it for t5 or mh to gauge bulb life. However how's accurate is this for led measurements? I probably won't be leaving this in my tank. Just maybe a week at a time until I get my light dialed in
