Anyone Thinking of Dumping LEDS and going back to Halides

Is there a significance PAR value difference between radium bulbs and regular ones?

I was under the impression that the radium 400 watt was not an hqi bulb and that running them on the m135 drastically over drives them (beyond spec) and reduces their life extremely. Someone confirm?

The m135 is the correct ballast for 400w radiums.
A 400w electronic ballast would be over driving them and shifting the color more white.

I guess champion told me wrong, glad to hear that you are still making them! However, now that the AB 10000s are being discontinued, I don't have the need anymore.

However when it comes time to set up my cube I will definitely be in the market for an m80.

JPMagyar, I respect your age, knowledge, experience and career. But I feel the need to point out Seamonster's post as being his opinion. He said "I suspect". It didn't seem to me like he was trying to pass his post off as being fact. I know you didn't call him stupid, but you did call his post stupid, which could be offensive. I know I wouldn't like to be told that my post was stupid. There's nicer ways to tell someone they're wrong. We should all try to be as polite and respectful as possible.
