Anyone tried Brightwell AngeLixir?

I just ordered some from Premium Aquatics the other day. Should be delivered today.

Hoping it'll get a good feeding response. I'm always interested to try something new.

Cool, let us know what you think.
have you tried Ocean Nutrition Angel Formula frozen cubes? It has sponges in the food.
Yep, I feed a good amount of that daily.

I figure if there's actually something good in the Lixir it would be worth a shot, but I couldn't come up with anything in my quick search.

I've brought up sponge content in angelfish diets before and didn't get much of a response: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1794628

It can't be great for them long term to eat foods like Mysis, etc. that they normally wouldn't eat in nature. Such high fatty content (I would think) could lead to intestinal and liver problems...

I've been using this product for the past two weeks. Haven't noticed much yet, but the fish eat the frozen and pellets I add this to. I keep angelfish, and recommend this product, for peace of mind. It's also easy to use with the pippette supplied, and only need to use small amounts that the food will absorb.

I also use Liposome Spray and Seachem Vitality.

My fish colours are great, and seem healthy.

Will try to take some pics or post a video soon.

So, I received this product on Friday and have been using it for a few days now.

I think it has increased the feeding response of my Prognathodes Butterfly toward PE Mysis that has been soaked in the Angelixir. Whether there is any nutritional benefit, I have no idea.

In all, I think it could be another good additive to have to throw at finicky fish.

Can anyone else share their experience?

Bump for any other input...

I'm placing an order online with a retailer that carries this. Haven't tried it yet but might give it a go now, any new input or experiences?

I've used this product for about 6 months. I don't notice a difference in their color or health but my fish always look great. I vary between the additives I use; vitachem, zoe, & now this product. It doesn't hurt them but I haven't noticed a huge improvement either.

I have a very large Emperor and Flame angel, and have been using this for several months. I add it to NLS pellets, along with Brightwell vitamin C everyday. I have noticed increase in coloration on both angels. I also add to mysis, and frozen. Feed 3 times per day, only add supplements to one feeding though.

Twice per week I skip the AngeLixir and add the vitamin C and Selcon.

I am definitely a fan of the AngeLixir.

Not sure if there is any real benefit to this product or not. I do use it for my angels along with amino max, vitachem, and selcon. Not sure I could say if it is what's making the appear more colorful and healthy since they all get a variety of other foods and enrichment items

I have been using the product for years. As dmorty said, how to say if its doing anything but Angels do eat sponge in the wild so it can not hurt!
