Problem is the WP 40 is physically too large for a smaller tank. It is huge!

Yeah, it was too large and ugly for my 120. I rather have 3-4 wp25 so I can angle them instead of 2 wp40.

So my eyes hurt from all this reading. From what i gathered it is apex controllable. Of which some ways cannot be discussed publicly. Please PM me with details on how to hook this thing up in a way i can understand. Now how about this. Can this pump be controlled by the vortech controller?

I noticed today they lowered the price to $75 and are now selling their own voltage regulator for it. $10. I have mine a couple of weeks now and am happy with it. Powerful and quiet.

Bummer, I ordered my first one from eBay and got it second day. Absolutely love the pump, so much so that I ordered a second last night from the same seller. It says they shipped from Panama City Beach Florida. I remember seeing someone on here from there ordering 40 so maybe I got them from them? I am ok with that as I got them so fast for not that much more. I just hope if there is a problem they can get me a receipt from Fish-street or jebo for warranty purposes.

Ok so i was about to spend money on a ato. Then i said wait a minute, i can just add a little more and get a reef angel controller and control these pumps. My question is what do i need to run 2 wp40 in vortech reefcrest mode anti sync. I already ordered 2 wp40. Just need to know what type of reef angel which cables or harness and which modules to buy. Thanks!

You will need the reef angel and two jebao cables. That's it to be up and running with two pumps in anti sync. Doesn't matter if you get the analog or pwm version. I would think most people get the pwm version. You can always add analog or pwm later.

I would for sure buy the wifi module as well as an extra temp probe.

Nope. You will simply unplug the stock jebao controller and then toss it to the side. You the just plug in the pump to the reef angel cable. Upload some code and your pumps are in anti sync mode running reef crest or 5 other custom wave patterns.

Wifi is needed to use the iPhone/android app or the online portal. Temp probe is nice to have an extra for sump temp(I also use one in my canopy) and they are so darn cheap, so why not. Lol.
