anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

Did anyone notice this on the WP40 page for FS?

All Our Replacement Kits only can send to our exist Order Customer. Our Replacement Kits cannot search or Order from factory which we have self factory to provides.

Jebao WP40 Version 1.1 is Release now. New plastic cover to Reduce Sound for the Pump. Customer if require a new Replacement Kits, Please contact for us.

Very confusing description! I think the "Replacement Kit" is for the light sensor which is not available from the factory but only from FS and only for current or existing WP40 customers.

The V1.1 of WP40 must have plastic pads between the pump housing and bracket holder to insulate the vibration. I wonder if that would hinder the ability to adjust the direction or rotation of the pump within the holder. Has anyone received the new version?

I guess I am fortunate both of mine are pretty quiet. one is louder than the other if you put your ear to them, but I cannot hear them over the fans for my lights which are pretty quiet.

I just emailed them about it, I needed to ask them about my refund for the powercord anyway... I'll let everyone know what all it entails when they get back to me...

Yeah, I wasn't too concern with the translation, I got the jist of it. Mainly I wanted to point out the new version.

Should suggest to them about adding a speed control on the controller!

Someone has already suggested that directly to them, and I think they were receptive to it for the WP-25. Since it looks like both will be using the same controller you may be able to get the new controller by itself eventually and stop all this modding ourselves.

Do you have the pair setup in wavemode? Can you link them together?

As far as I know they can not be linked together like MP40 can because they are not wireless.

I was told by Roberto at Reef Angel that they can be run in sync or anti-sync because the Reef Angel does that.

I'm not sure if that answers your question or not.

If you don't mind it looking like a hurricane, the WP40 would be great! In a 40g tank a 3200gph pump is only 80 turns an hour all by itself. If I was you, I'd wait and see what the WP25 looks like. That's what I plan to put in my 55g and 70g tanks.
Yeah I think that's the best.

NO, they are not synced. that would require me hooking them to my Reefkeeper or getting another controller like APEX or reef angel. BUT, with the two on the lowest setting they still ran at different intervals.

detail:

Both on W1, 24 volts knob all the way to the right for longest intervals. you could hear them both if you listened closely to the tank. you could tell 1 oscilated faster. this would give me a good 1" wave in my tank but it would diminsh a bit and then come back. all in all it worked well but I am liking the else mode a bit better.

also, I think one has blown a bit too hard on my frogspawn form 4' away. its showing a bit of the skeleton under the polyp.

So, are the version 1.1 pumps with the "sound reducing plastic cover" the ones being sold by Fish-Street? Or is this a kit that must be purchased/requested separately? And is the kit even necessary? It's tempting to buy one from eBay to get quicker shipping, but if there is some updated version, then that might be a better option, right?

Another quick question (I searched this thread and others without finding a good answer): Does the included controller remember the last setting after a power outage?

I havent found out about the "kit" yet, but the controller does not remember after a power outage. I beleive it reverts back to W1 mode...

I have mine plugged into my RKE controller functions as a timer which turns the pump on 60 sec and off 10 sec and completely off at night. In the morning, the pump returns back to the last setting. There must be something that holds the memory of the last setting. When off for an extended period, it reverses back to factory default mode which is the first or "H" mode.

That could be a problem if your gone and the waves start lapping over the top of the tank. Can someone clarify this please. My pumps have not arrived yet.
