anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

just got my wp40 today and put it in my 75, and man what a nice flow. i can remove all my koralias i have and be fine. next will be a wp25 for my 15 gallon cube. i got mine on ebay and came in 2 days, with the 12 mode controller and was only $83 shipped. even if it lasts a year, at a third the cost of a vortech and seems like much higher flow, ill take it...

the wp25 will likely blow water out of your 15g.
i use 1 on 100% else mode in my 60g for flow, i also have 1 that comes on at about 60% of low flow for an hour a day to blow out behind my rocks (barebottom).
when both are on, it is a maelstrom....

anyone have the manufacture contact information?
I tried going to the website and its no longer working and the email on the side of the box info@jebao.com came back with a mailer-deamon failure as well.... kinda sketchy

Mine was waiting at the door this afternoon. Only took 10 days from Hong Kong. Only had tome to ope n it up and look at it though:mad: smells like a freshly opened star wars figure in the 70s if your old enough to know what I mean

Welcome to the world of Chinese Manufacturing where the warranty is honored by the reseller not the manufacturer.

That's why most are willing to pay a little more to buy from a reseller with a history of customer service (like FS)

Can you explain in other words for the younger people? Why you are mad? Is there a problem with the pump?

This would mean a heavy vinyl/plastic smell. :strooper: Not that it smells like Jar Jar.

OMG, I think I just dated myself.

I have been running my wp40 on else mode in my 90 and I love it. I would like to get another 40 or maybe a 25 to put on the other side then I can remove my korolias

I find plenty if not too much flow on my 90. I have two tunze 6045 at the top to get more shimmer. May remove them though.

Finally got mine running in my 150 dd. All I can say is wow! My tank has only been running for a few months as I recently upgraded from a 46 bowfront. It's amazing how much crap had already settled on my rocks.I left my 2 maxijets in too with rotating flow deflectors to help randomize the flow. I'm loving it. I'm glad I waited to buy a variable power supply because 100% on else mode is perfect.I also love how sleek it looks being black against a painted black background.I was worried about how big it is but it's really not. It is virtually silent too because of my other equipment. Just waiting for lights out to see if the light sensor works.

Glad you like it. I love the flow and the sensor. This is the best pump I have ever had on a tank since I started back in the early 90's. Cheers

So... The new MP40's from Fish Street have speed control out of the box, right? I am about to order one WP40 and one WP25 for a 100g (5'x 18"x 20"ish) I'm setting up. I was going under the impression that I could run the 40 at 50% just for the wider flow, but if you can't dial them back in stock form then I'll just get two 25's. Please advise.
