anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

The speed control only works on w1 mode. If you like any of the other modes but they are too strong you will need to reduce the power yourself.

Thanks for the reply, I'll just go with 2 of the 25"s then. The wider flow would've been nice though.

I have had the wp40 for 4 months now it in my opinion exceeds the mp40 l.I have not had any issues.itsca very good product for the pricev 80 bucks well spent

I would get the 40 and the 25. My 40 is good on my 90 but some of the corners have a little less flow than I would like. I think adding a 25 would be perfect. But I may just get another 40 and run it on w1 and lower the flow rate.

Yes I would say it performs at a mp60 rate than a mp40.I have 1 wp40 on a 75 gallon sps and I have no choice but to run on w1 turned on lowest flow rate due to the wave splashing out.would work perfect on a 90 or larger.AGAIN don't worry about the price verse quality this thing exceeds mp40 in my opinion

Is there a reason you run it slower instead of adjusting the frequency so the waves are smaller?

I just got my wp40 Wednesday and I have to say... very impressive!

I pulled my mp40 because the wp is - IMO - about as powerful as a PAIR of the Vortechs... my fish and (especially) the corals are loving the extra flow!

Here's a quick video of the wp40 in action on my 6 - week old 90g Reef...
the wp is set on W2 mode and is about 7 - 8" below the waterline.

Sorry about the so -so video quality; I shot this with an old 8 megapixel point n shoot:

This pic was taken at the far end of my 6'/125g with just 1 wp40 at the other end. I had to lower the water level to keep the waves from spilling over. Setting was else mode on med/low.

So what's up when your messing with the pump I noticed they every mode stays at 50% I don't know if its the pump or the controller ?

So I got my pump up and running after the bad power supply incident. I'm running it in else mode at 24v and it doesn't seem like too much for the tank. The fish don't mind and the water isn't sloshing out LOL.

I have a Koralia 5 and an 3 (I think. Boxes are in the attic) plus two external return pumps pushing around 1100gph. Quite a swirl in there!

so would 2 wp40s be too much for my 75 if i were to remove all my koralias? or should i go with the 1 wp40 i have and add a wp25 and eliminate the koralias

Agreed.
I actually have 1 40 and 1 25 (I just put in yesterday).

I'm trying to determine if this is OK or too much.

They are both on Else mode. The 40 is running at about 50% and the 25 is running at about 80%

I think it works. I'll know more after watching the tank today while the lights are on.

I set it up late yesterday and by the time I was done I had very little light left.
