anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

I notice that most who have posted pics and videos have installed the Jebao towards the middle of one of the side panes. I imagine putting the pump in a back corner, a foot down from the top won't produce a standing wave and there will be reflection all over the place. Has anyone tried this for any length of time? It would be nice to have all the necessary flow without the pump being so conspicuous. (Just trying to play with physics!:spin3:) I'm just planning my next 210 gallon 7' x 2' x 2' and all advice is welcome.

That is exactly what I have done with my WP-40 and it has been that way for 6 months. I am running it at 60% of Max flow. It works great except the flow is always going the same direction. Soon I will be removing the 40 and putting two 25 in the same position on each corner. one will run for 4-6 hours while the other is off. Both will run at 100%

Hey treetopflyn, is your tank primarily SPS? I am wondering if I should do the same as you are suggesting except with 2 x WP-40 or 2 x WP60, given that my tank will be twice as long as yours.

Just a heads up i have a 40 B and am running a wp 25 in it. It works fine i keep it on the lowest setting and wave 1 and it makes nice waves anything higher though and the sand starts to move around and get cloudy. not a bad wavemaker fpr the price, I will probably end up buying an mp10 once I get an apex system so I can control the pump through the apex

Was just reading this guys experience with the new dual controller from another site.(interesting) >

JUST GOT MY 2 NEW TWIN CONTROLLERS IN FROM
JEBAO FOR MY 4 WP40 SET UP AND RUNNING

they are great many nice patterns to chose from

the new C mode back and forth from one pump to the other
is one that i really like the most

lot and lots of options

i had my 150 GAL tank looking like a washing machine

the night mode works much better then the old one
very fast and very responsive

MINE ALL ARIVED WORKING WITH NO DAMAGE

THEY ARE THE BEST CONTROLLER I SEEN IN A LONG TIME FOR THE PRICE

THE CONTROLLER OPTIONS ALL WORK GREAT ON THE CONTROLLERS

THE INSTRUCTION ARE VERY VERY GOOD BEST I SEEN FROM THEM YET

FOR THE PRICE YOU CANNOT FIND BETTER CONTROLLER

WHEN I READ THE INSTRUCTION ON LINE THEY DONT MAKE SENSE
BECAUSE YOU CANNOT SEE ALL THE LABELS ON THE CONTROLLER IN THE PHOTOS
AND I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY COULD WORK AS STATED
THE PHOTOS DONT SHOW ALL THE SMALL PRINT ON THE CONTROLLER
I GOT CONFUSED ONCE I GOT THEM ALL WAS VERY CLEAR AND EASY

I LOVE THEM I HAD 4 WP40 WITH 4 POWER SUPPLIES AND 4 CONTROLLER

NOW ALL I NEED IS 2 POWER SUPPLIES AND 2 CONTROLLERS

HEAVEN IAM IN HEAVEN HE HE

I Can't wait till they offer them from the NJ warehouse. I bet when they get back in a forward motion from their New Years, you'll be able to get them stateside. :bounce1:

Looked to me like each pump is packaged with its own controller. Can you buy the pumps separately and then also buy a dual (or quad?) controller?

Not sure why you would want to? It appears to cost less to buy the two pumps with the new controller in the package they offer.

I am building a 240 gallon and I am thinking about two wp 40 with dual controller. Putting one on one end of the tank and one on the other. I Think it will be enough for awhile I may have to add some more once I start moving a little more toward sps tank.

No problem. I'd like to hear your feedback. I use s Reef Angel, so so don't need this, but I want to know for others.

Yes they can. The eaiest way is to get the cable from Reef Angel and replace the end with an RJ 45 end instead of the header plug.
