anyone tried to using Jebo WP40?

thanks for all the help guys, my return pump is a Diablo dc 3500 which actually has the same exact power supply. I mean it literally has the same manufacturer's sticker on it. Once I get home ill test the wp40 using the supply from the return pump. if the power supply is indeed the culprit I will purchase two, one to use and one as a spare.

So...what turned out to be the problem?

Just got a WP-25 today for my 65 mixed reef. Man, the flow is amazing! This threads (and a couple others here) helped me pull the trigger. Thanks!

Anyone noticing noise from theirs? On Else mode, I sometimes hear what sounds like a cell phone weak vibrate, on and then off, etc etc. Pretty distracting when it does it, which is not all the time. Thoughts?

How old (or I should say new) is your pump.
There is a slight vibration noise in the beginning, but it goes away in a couple of weeks or so.

Indeed it will most likely go away after a few weeks. Also it will most likely return for a couple of days when you clean them.

If you have an RKE...

Don`t know if its been mentioned, but Digital Aquatics has a Jebao module coming out that plugs into their APC module. its on their FB page.
I`ve had WP40 on my 90gal for about 4 months and I`ve never heard it make sound. It`s on low making a 1" rocking wave.
They also sent me 2 when I ordered 1 and said to keep it, so I already have a backup :celeb3:
My MP40 is the noisy one.
I imagine Vortechs pricing should be in half this time next year.

One of my 40's stopped working after about 1 year. The other sounds like a box of rocks! My tank is otherwise super quiet as I have a basement equipment room. This makes the sound super obvious but... I'm not convinces these are all that. Don't get me wrong, vortech and the like need to come up with a quiet, reliable, cost effective alternative. Who can afford $1000 for water movement. But the coral I lost without the h20 movement sucked.

well, bad news, I use two WP40s and one just died. I did some troubleshooting and it isnt the controller, and it isnt the power supply, it is the wet end. Been running about 3 months. I disassembled, soaked in vinegar, reassembled, nothing. no pulse.

Any ideas beyond bugging the vendor I got it from who is 3.5 hours away??
