Does anyone work with car insurance here?
Sorry to bring it up on a reef forum but I just got my bill - 100% increase in my premiums because I slipped on some debris and had a small crash a few months back - there was no body damage, just 2 wheels, a bumper and some suspension bits.

Aanyway, can anyone help me find a better policy? :(
Thanks!

Geico is the one that just jacked up my rates 100%.
:(
I don't qualify for NJM because I have had a ticket in the last year.

I am with High Point right now, used to be Prudential. I pay about 250.00 for six months policy. I called Geico and the rates were twice what I pay with high point. I just can't get them to insure the Porsche since she is 43 years old!

If you have tickets & accident don't bother with all state, the only thing is to call around for prices, AIG and state farm aren't to bad you could start with them

NJM has another branch that insures people who've had tix. It is still a better deal than other insurances. You should check it out. A friend of mine used it with his son.

" people who've had tix" - " A friend of mine" .

A friend huh?........yea sure............ok, a friend. ;) ;) ;)

My neighbor got a rate from NJ Cure that was $900 a year cheaper than the insurance he had, same coverage. He also did not have a perfect driving record. They are worth getting a quote from anyway.

Good luck,
Tina

only thing I can't vouch for is their service. haven't had an accident under their watch yet (knock on wood) - at least not one that was my fault. ;)
