I got this chalice awhile back from Darwin (Legendary Corals). It, and the colony, was beautiful when he released it on a very limited basis. My little frag "pinked out"(kind-of like browning-out) for many months and didn't grow much. Well, I was talking to him at the MARS swap and he said the same thing happened to his colony...healthy, but not the same coral.
So, this is for Darwin. A couple of months ago, it started coloring up again and growing a little faster. Believe it or not, the picture doesn't really do it justice. It is very bright. It has a very nice blue body with a screamin' pink rim and eye. It is one of my favorites!

I don't even really like chalices and I love this thread. I do love acros and acans though! Good to see you at the swap Neil! (And in a non-work context!)

man that 1 is sick. Two of the best contrast together colors for a coral in my opinion- pink and blue

I still have the colony, it's only about 2" across and is all pink. It's been through a couple of tank swings but is a fighter and is still with me. It's very healthy now but the stress has turned it all pink, I'm hoping that the blue comes back soon. Glad that a piece of it is in a good home and with someone who likes to take photos.

That is Pacman. I took that pic when just the Reefbrites and one set of T5s(blue+ & coral+) were on and it is starting to get shaded. So, it is more intense than when all lights come on. Polyps are almost yellow on my colony.
