i started saltwater tanks 8 yrs ago. i still maintain a very health 125 gal reef.
i do water changes every 2 weeks, i use high quality oklahoma tap water.
my coral love that when i bring them out and wash them with fresh water right out the tap. my fish are very healthy and they also love taking a weekly bath, if they looka bit dirty i mix a tiny bit dawn dish detergen in my bath water. it also removed tics and ichs off them.
If u are still reading this then u been april fooled. thats what april brings to us atleast one day in a yr.

no i am buddies with John at Tulsa Aquatics and go places and meeting with him. but after u mentioned i printed their form and will send it out today. are u a member?

I used to have a big problem with ticks and fleas. Since then I've been putting flea collars on them and it's helped a lot, especially the tangs, as they seem to be the most susceptible.

this year i am trying out to give my fish a bath in E-10 gas(ethenol) to rid of parasites.

I've heard Coca Cola is a great cleaner. I put a 6-pack in my tank a week. It really gets the rock clean as a whistle.

My guys like it when I take em down to the beach in Port A. Just load em up in the truck w/ the dog and kids. I throw in all in a big gunny sack and toss em in the bed of the truck. You know they like the warm sun here in Texas. Gets up to 102 F all summer. After that 4 hour ride, they like to take a good swim off the jetty, and then of course everyone likes to eat boiled shrimp for dinner.

Ya got me,,, until I started reading about the dawn dish washing liquid. Then I realized what day it was. And don't know if you were joking about the fresh water, but you can do a fresh water dip with salt fish to remove ich.

Have a great week.

lol yes its a twist of true and untrue practices that gets one. Happy Fools day to every one.

lol i had this pop up every April 1st. for last 2 yrs. not sure who brought it to life today. lmao.
