My Odontanthias borbonius was in an interesting position today so I took a quick shot.

I'm working on setting up the new 25 gallon NPC tank. I already have the tank, fully cured live rock, and fully cured live sand for it, all I need now is a stand! lol

Well, I pulled the trigger on another Archohelia Rediviva. Todd at Cherry Corals posted up a few large rescue colonies and I couldn't resist. (pictures will follow once it arrives)

I figure it was time to share this coral with everyone. This is one of the oldest Azoo corals I own and probably my favorite.

I picked it in 2007 from a friend who imports corals out in San Diego. It came in a Aussie shipment It started out with either 5 or 6 heads and now it is up to 14. I have never fragged it.

Today my "rescue" Archohelia Rediviva colony arrived from Cherry Corals. It looks like it has a lot of potential. Visually reminds me more of an SPS coral. Should be a month or two before it turns into a show stopper.

It ate a ton of mysis,cyclops, mixed with MinS a few minutes ago. I have it located on the top of my reef so it can easily be fed by hand daily.

I will try to post up the progress bi-weekly on this colony.
