That would really help.

I am trying to get a picture of my screen. Thanks all.

Good idea, maybe we could start a new thread here on RC first getting some input as to what areas people feel they are experts on and then ask them to do some instructions for that area. LOL Calibrating probes and setting up Temperature programs was a full time effort for me so I could do those. Psyire is great in just about every area! Many other guys have invested lots of time in Dosing Prgs, Light Prgs and Ca. Using the PC software is also going to require some good Instructions.

If people post some intructions and screen shots and what not I can compile it into a web page for everyone.

Just a quick complaint about the customer service. I didn't want to air the dirty laundry because I like this product, but with no response other then a bunch of questions on Tuesday from Ron, which I answered, I have yet to hear back from them.

I had a salinity probe start to rust so Will sent me another but the new one gives me inaccurate readings. So I've put the old rusty one back in and now I have perfect readings once again. A bad probe I guess but it sure would be nice to hear back from Ron or Will so we can get the rusty probe replaced with a probe that works...

I hope the firmware update solves a lot of things. Just out of quriosity will other probes work with the aquatronica?

Well, I am pretty sure my problem is me. Still trying to get the lights to work. Someone asked if it was a clock above my "c" it really looks like a lock to me. All the plugs have a lock above the letter on the main screen. So, this sounds like hmmm maybe they are locked. What can I do about this. I have read the manual. Can someone tell me what they did to program there lights or show me a picture. I am trying to get a picture of my screen. Thanks all.

Hi rulesmith,

Just wanted to do a quick walk through.

Are all your Power bars and Interfaces showing up on your LCD screen?

If so, check to make sure you have the switch on the Power Bar itself set to the "Auto" position. When a "lock" icon is showing above all your letters that is an indication that your power bar is set to "Manual" on your Power Bar.

Hi TheMoneyPit,

I got your email. Reason I didn't respond is, I had no answer for you. I am answering questions from Aquatronica based on the answers you gave me. I felt unless I had something useful to offer you as a response I would leave it at that for now.

What I want you to do is. Disconnect the Salinity Interface from your Power Bar. Hit "Enter" after it tells you "Device Disconnected". Go into your "Main Menu" scroll down to "Disconnect". Hit enter and "confirm". Once the Salinity program is gone, attach your new probe and plug the interface back in. Accept that when it tells you "New device connected" place the probe where you want it to take readings. Leave it over night. Well lets say 24 hours. Calibrate the probe and send me the results.

Thanks a million!

Well, now I know the proplem is with me. I read the above and got all excited cause I did not know there was a switchon the Power Bar, so this must be the proplem, the only proplem is I went and looked at my power bar and could find no switch. So where is the little devil?

on a happier note, I did figure out how to set the alarm on my temp. :) my big dream is to have my fan set to my temp. Then I will be rolling :)

The switch is between plug "H" and the USB ports... Is a large plug in "H" covering it or did you mount by accident the metal bracket over it ?

You can clearly see the 'auto/manual' switch in this picture, after the 'H' Plug:

LOL should have thought of that when he mentioned the problem, sometimes the simple things slip by.

BTW Nick I will start to write some stuff for the AQT user Manual thread.

I guess my telepathy powers aren't as good as most peoples, when I received no response I thought you just didn't care. Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try and see what happens.
It is a little annoying to have to jump through hoops to get this $1000+ investment to work properly. Any idea why this new probe would give such sporadic readings, while the old one, even though rusty, works perfectly?
In the future should I contact Aquatronica directly?
