Arcti-Pods ROCK !!!!

All that I can say is THANK YOU !! to both ReefNutrition and Gresham for such a great product.

We had purchased a male lineatus last week that was not eating. We knew that when we bought him, the vendor was very upfront about it, but since we had good luck with getting fish to eat in the past we took a chance (and also got a big discount $$ :)). Once the fish was a little more acclimated to the tank it was time to see if we could get him to eat. There is an abundance of pods and other micro-fauna in our tank but I don't rely on that to feed any of our fish except for our mandarin. But still, I had hoped that the live food would help spur on the lineatus's appetite. After a couple of days we still had not witnessed the fish eating, but still weren't worried, there was still time for him to regain his appetite. We tried the Artct-Pods this morning that we had picked up from Grasham at the meeting yesterday and the Lineatus came out of his "home" almost immediately and started eating them at a very fast pace. To me that spells SUCCESS !! :)

I can't wait for the other new products they have planned for Summer 2006 to "hit the shelves" :D

What are you talking about ?

BTW, those that you linked to are know fish eaters and I believe also venemous, although I don't know what they have to do with this thread ? A lineatus is a wrasse, a very popular one. Do a search on the net you will find plenty of pictures :)

I am so glad this is on the market. I was testing it, and it was so good, but it was under wraps so I just go to feed it to stuff. :D

I picked up a feather star and it goes nuts when I feed the arcti pods.

Cirrhilabrus lineatus. (Striped fairy wrasse)

Lineatus means striped and a lot of genuses have that species name.

Gresh and Reef Nutrition have been stalwart supports of the club for as long as I can remember, so its great to see so many thanking them for a product that rocks!

I can't swear to it but I am pretty sure I saw our mandarin hitting the Arcti-pods this morning. This is a mandarin that we have had for at least 9 months now (really longer, but I don't remember the exact date we got her). Up until today she has only ever eaten live food from our tank (micro fauna from our live rock), never have I seen her eat any frozen, processed or any other food that we have added to the tank (including cyclopeez). But this stuff seemed to "interest" her :).

so the nuclear orange stuff is the new crack for reefkeepers eh?? :)

Someone sell to Steve at Lucky Ocean, I dont really want to go to 6th avenue to buy any products regardless of how good they are :)

I am with Mike on this. This stuff is awesome!!!!

My Bangaii are a bit more picky than everything else in the tank, and they eat this stuff like gangbusters.

Does anyone know what the pricing is on this?
