Are there any good photography forums out there?

I'm looking for a RC of digital photography. I've learned a lot about each of my hobbies from forums, so I figure it's time to step out and really learn how to use that thousand dollar black box I got for graduation. I have a canon xti if tha tmatters.

There are actually quite a few Nikon (and other) shooters on POTN, so even if you don't own a Canon, there is a lot of really good information that easily translates to other SLRs. . .even non-digital

off topic cody6766, what kind of bird is that in your avatar?

He's an Indian Ring-neck Parakeet. They're from the topics around India and west with a sub-species native to east Africa. The wild color is mostly green, with blues, yellows and purple highlights if you look closely. The blue morph was introduced in captivity and is gaining popularity. It was really rare several years back (read: expensive) but it's quite common now. He's about 2 years old and has developed the black ring around his neck that the name implies. You can see a hint of it showing as a lighter ring in that pic. It's black now.

Anyway, that's the long answer, haha! They're great little birds. Do a search on youtube and you'l find videos of several other morphs talking and playing. My wife and I have 2 and an African Grey.

Post all the time on there, It was instant as soon as you activated your acount via the email link they send you. I would look on there for a Moderator, and see if they could activate your account for you.
