Arrow[head] Crab question

So my crabs ... i guess they open their tail (more like a rear trunk of a camry)...
and with their long crab arms...

starts.. picking at their innards...

now is this just self cleaning or are they having inventive aquarium ..er.. self-fun?

Probably molting. Arrow crabs are insane to watch molt. I have a video I need to post for the peeps here on RC, but it looks bizzar.
