Nice set up. I would say give it some time. When I clean my cup real well, it doesnt produce skimmate for a while either.

Anyone here have a pic of some asm mini skimate? Thinking about trading in my CSS for one.
Use a Tee in your overflow return with the side out leading to the skimmer. Below the Tee place a valve to limit the flow. The more the valve is closed the more that is diverted to the skimmer, and vice versa. Hope that makes sense.Originally posted by nseawater
I've just drilled my G3 for a feed and had it recirc. COuld you show me you're feeding your asm skimmers with a feed. Right now I've got a 1" uniseal and I'm thinking of using a 1" pvc to feed it.
Would this work - how can I limit the flow to the skimmer by under 200 gallons an hour - via ball valve?
TIA

I am just about to pull the trigger on a g1x for my 54 corner but, I need to know the max depth of water this thing can run in to make sure it will fit under the cabinet with my current sump water depth.
Thanks.
