Asterinas eating acros?

So my rr aussie gold was stning so I pulled out the colony to frag off the Stn parts and found this.

Some of my smoother acros are brown also.
Can they be eating my acros?

Hard to see from the pics. I've neither experienced nor heard of asterina stars eating acros.

They are only eating the algae that is growing on the RTN spots, not the acro tissue itself

If your getting random RTN. You should check you micro elements (often these get overdosed) and do some big water changes for a couple weeks to correct the imbalance

Well most of my acros look good, only a couple have a little Stn. I've been doing water changes. Seems these just exploded and a couple acros went brown or stn.
