Yesterday while adding some Astrea snails to the tank one went right into the clams mouth. The clam over the last 24 hours has closed particularly and never opened all the way since (while not fully closed, the mouth is not open). Should I let nature run it's course or should I be worried and force the clam open and go searching?
I'm a little worried because it doesn't seem like a Astrea snail would be particularly easy to just 'spit' out if the clam wanted to. It could be crawling on the inside walls.
