Astrophotography

I took these photos with my Canon X1i and Celestron 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, focal length 2032mm (f/10). I picked up a Canon T-Ring and T-Adaptor and tested them tonight.

This was my first time trying astrophotography so I experimented with exposure time and ISO. Comments and advice welcome.

Wow, those are pretty cool. I am not an expert but I like em. Would love to see more of other things too. Not too sure what all you can see with your telescope, but awesome!

Beautiful shots there MBZ! Did you do anything to reduce noise other than in-camera NR?

Thanks for the comments. First time using the telescope with the camera; can't wait to try shooting other subjects.

I ran the photos with PSE 7 and used the unsharpen mask plus made a few minute adjustments like brightness and contrast.
