At what age to clownfish go female?

I have a young pair of B&W clowns aprox. 5-6 months old now and the bigger one which I assume is or will be the female (I refer to it as a female since it will most likely be) is not letting the smaller one hang out in the RBTA with her. He'll go in when she's not around, but if she's in it then she pushes him out.
So I'm wondering if they haven't paired because they're both males still or if she has turned female and doesn't want to pair with him.

You have a typical female and male. Females will always act like that, totally normal behavior in my opinion.

That is normal.Does she allow him to sleep at night in the nem?

Thanks guys, no she doesn't let him sleep in the nem. The funny thing is, is that he was the 1st one to start hosting the nem and now he never goes in it.
