ATI 48" 3x75W LED & 4x54W T5 LED-Powermodule

Hello Everyone,

I am thinking of buying this light for my all SPS 120 gallons tank (4' x 2' x 2').
This is the dimensions of the light: 46.2" x 12.0" x 2.4" (L x W x H)
I will be keeping sps around 10 inches from the bottom of the tank.

So what do you guys think? Is this enough light for it?

IMO the width of the light should match the tank, so you need a fixture 24" wide.

I have just received this unit, it is very well built. I have not set it up yet because I use Mac which is not supported by ATI and I am waiting for a PC to start programing it.

I would most definitely go for the 8 tube unit. The tube combos and light coverage front to back will most certainly make it worthwhile.

4X54W is good enough, but the 8x54W unit will give you better SPS colours!
This fixture is the best out there!

I'm using a 6 bulb ATI 48" and running a Zeovit tank without issues... with that being said I really want to upgrade to a unit with LED's and it would be a tough choice 4bulb vs 8 bulb... anyhow if i would buy a new fixture I would go with a 8bulb (as some mentioned, they can be running at a lower intensity if needed)

I had a opportunity to purchase a 8bulb 36" ATI Hybrid fixture which I think would have worked well, however the guy changed his mind last minute and did not sell... :headwallblue:

I just don't understand the point of red diodes in these ati units.

I have the 4 bulb on a 48 x 24 x 20 sps tank, LED at 60% max with par readings 200-300 on the bottom. I find that more than enough light to have sps grow well on the bottom...

I have this exact light over a 47x23x19 (exact measurements) tank. It works wonderfully. The 8 bulb might be better for your tank however. Only downside would be a bit less accessibility due to the larger fixture over the tank.
