ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

The normal one PM i'm used to have a 3/4" max above water ..instead the hybrid pne need almost 8" if you push power of leds..
 
Hmm this is whiter color? Looks bluer to me, you have 4 super blue and 1 actinic
Do you think you getting benefit from actinic tube?
How would you compare KZ new gen and ATI coral?
 
It is whiter, as those 3 white bulbs overpower the blues. I put actinic on second slot, to get some more of fluorescence color from some of my corals, I like how it looks, as far as benefits, probably not much. New Generation is whiter bulb then Coral+, without pink tint. I included one Coral + to get little purple/red color , as I don't use any purple bulbs at all.

I've used Giesemann bulbs and they aren't as good for color rendering in corals. Apparently they have a new line of bulbs coming out but I know nothing about them.

The only KZ bulb I used was the purple and didn't like it.
 
I have used the Giesemann Pure Actinic and the Aquapink. I did not see any benefit from the Aquapink, but the Giesemann Pure Actinic is my all time favorite T5 bulb. It created unbelievable colors and looks the closest to the old fashioned UVL Super Actinic VHO of any bulb I have tried to date. I had been running Giesemann Pure Actinic in combination with ATI C+ to great effect but I switched to a combination of ATI B+ and C+ just to see if I could notice any changes over a 4 month period. So far the colors look the same to me.
 
What size is the power supply or controller for the 48" 8 bulb hybrid? I am laying out my electronics chamber in my cabinet and need to allocate space for it.

Power supply, controller, or ballast....

You didn't notice a difference under actinic only ?
 
Thanks for that link Reefvet.......I should have clarified other than their advertisements, there isn't any performance reviews or feedback I know of from reefers using this new line.

Coralvue is going to be a US distributor of the new line and they were asking for volunteers to trial the bulbs for them just a few weeks back.

I have heard good things similar to what Joe has mentioned above about their Pure Actinic bulb........... that's been on the market for quite some time. It has higher par numbers than other competitor T5 actinics from tests posted on RC.
 
with only 4 tubes i don't like purple plus...
but if you like the combo try to push a custom setup for leds with 255 RB 255 B 125 W 10 RED power like you have now.
