You should see if a LFS has it stocked? I price shopped them and a LFS beat the online prices, and INCLUDED the bulbs. I did spend a lot of money at the store on other things, but saved me a ton of money.

Sadly, closest LFS to me that would carry anything close is 4 hours away.

I've been looking at tanks around the world that use 8 bulb t-5 and seeing different bulb combos.
I like reef in the sky's from his 4th update video which is:

P+

I'm wondering how to incorporate the LEDs to compliment this. Or to use the LEDs as an ABS setting and use more C+ or P+ in the t-5. How do you guys utilize the LED Aspect of the fixture. Does anyone use the presets and like the outcome?

I'm coming from all LED so I'm not sure how it will end up looking after I tinker with the settings for a bit.
Too much purple imho, one is enough. And not sure about "Giessman New Gen" as Giesemann does not have a bulb with that name, maybe you mean KZ New Gen?

Has anyone had issues with the relays needing replacement? Recently one of the channels on my 4x24 powermodule crapped out and after working with an ATI rep, it was determined that the relay was bad. Since this was a 4x24 unit, I cannot replace the relay alone as it is integrated into the control box, I would need to replace the entire control box which is $$$. I'm curious how often do relays go bad on these fixtures? I don't want to buy a new box everytime I need to replace the relay.

Hmm, make sure you update the firmware on the fixtures and you have the newest version of the program.

+1, I have played with mine about 10 times, and never had an issue with it crashing

Might have to try firmware, but software is the one that was on ATI North America website.
At least there won't be much needing to change. Have the t5s running with no dimming for a few days until they're broken in. I may try switching out one of the coral+ for a purple+ or actinic to get a little deeper purple color. But so far I'm loving the look.

Try that, click on lamp, then firmware update. Then try working with the program and the lights
