ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

Hey Keith,
I have a gen2 hybrid and 1 set of the led clusters just started to flicker on and off. Not sure if this has to do with heat as the weather has definitely warmed up. Any ideas as to why this may be occurring?

Thanks

Clint

Clint it is almost certainly overheating. You can look at the scrolling information on the control box and confirm it is likely at or near 60 degrees C. This is the threshold where either a portion or the whole cluster will turn off.

Check your fan function, check ambient temperature and fix accordingly.

What percent are you guys running the LED with 8 T-5 on? I'm running only 4 bulbs out of the 8 and LED at 70% my son SPS is getting burn tips. I decreased the LED down to 50% and still getting burn tips. I was thinking just run the 8 T5 and have the LED as dusk to dawn.

I see no one answered this one so let me take a swing. I have 2 48 inch Powermodules over a 48 x 48 cube. They are 10 inches above the water line. I run both sets of 8 lamps at 100% for 8 hours and the blue leds go from 0 to 100% and back starting at 6 AM and ending at 10 PM. I have corals at the top of the tank receiving 700+ PAR.

I am willing to bet the trouble your are experiencing is not related to light intensity.

Do you have a photo and an update?

Hi guys.
Im not new to the hybrid club as i had the 8x54 3x75 fixture a few years ago
Im coming back with a bigger tank in my new place and just got the 8x80 4x75 fixture from a local member.
Years ago a member "œSahin" help me by sending me the email with the perfect program for my needs
Unfortunately i know how to grow corals but not an expert on programming lights and Sahin is not active right now. Even tho i reach out to email already. Hopefully he's ok just busy!!
Anyways was wondering if some1 here have the time and is willing to help me

Assuming this is a non-wifi fixture it should be pretty easy to make this change. Send me the file and I can take a look.

Hi I purchased a used older 8 bulb hybrid powermodule and i think the previous owner switched up the order of the ballast channels and I’d like to change it.
Currently
Channel 1: 1,2,5,6
Channel 2: 3,4,7,8
I’d like to make it
Channel 1: 1,2,7,8
Channel 2: 3,4,5,6
Is this possible? If so, how?

Nick you would need to rewire it, this is pretty difficult on the LED Powermodule. This video would be a good start:

I've have a 180g, eurobraced, 6x2x2 sps dominant tank. Would I be looking at the 4x80w or 8x80w fixture?

Thanks,

Matt

I have the ATI 4X54W HYBRID WIFI POWERMODULE Fixture with 4 ATI 48" 54W Bulbs. I upgraded the Firmware over the weekend and forgot to back up my settings. Currently running ATI's default. Does anyone want to share their Settings File with me so i dont use the defaults...unless opinion is defaults are a good option. I currently don't have many corals but hoping to keep a mixture of hard and soft corals. Looking for settings that will provide good growth and color. Tank specs are below. Thanks for the help!!!

Crystaline 48"x24"x21" w/external OF with Trigger sump
Ecotech Vectra L1 Return Pump
Two Ecotech MP40QD
Simplicity 240DC Skimmer
Neptune Apex
Neptune Atk ATO
BRS Dual Media Reactor w/Pump
Trigger ATO 10g
Kessil A80 Fuge Lite w/mount arm
Tropic Eden

Just a heads up, you'll only be able to upload another 48" program. Since the other sizes have different numbers of LED spots it won't accept them.

Keith,
Thanks for the heads up. I've been out of the hobby for a while, but jumped back in about a year ago. I love the ATI Fixture, just seems the default schedule is a little to white for me. Not really sure how to or what to programming the fixture to, to be able to get good growth and color. Currently, Fixture is hanging 14" from water's surface. Keith, Any help is greatly appreciated!!

It is very difficult to assist with anything color related since it is so subjective. Its a bit like asking me to help pick out what color car you want. I personally prefer a very white tank, more like snorkeling at 10' rather than scuba at 80'.

Is this a wifi or non wifi fixture?

Keith,
I followed those steps over the weekend after upgrading to latest firmware. Just don't know how to now change the settings of Light Studio is not used?

Step 4: Complete Initial Setup Procedure
Open your wireless settings and connect to “ATI-Fixture.” While you are connected wirelessly, you will not be able to access your normal wireless internet connection.

Open a web browser and navigate to 192.168.1.1/login

Log in using the default user name and password (admin / admin).

Select your preferred language.

Set a new user name and password (you can use the same combination you used prior to resetting the device).

Choose your type of lamp:
24” fixture = 1 module (1x75W)
36” fixture = 2 module (2x75W)
48” fixture = 3 module (3x75W)
60” fixture = 4 module (4x75W)

Run a self-test.

Save Settings.

Log in again, this time using your new user name and password.

Open the “Settings” tab and set the fan value. Do NOT skip this step or your fixture may overheat and cause damage.

For a 4 or 6 bulb fixture, enter the number “5”

For a 8 bulb fixture, enter the number “7”

So once the above steps are done, I adjust the color settings directly from the Fixture by logging into its IP Address, adjusting settings, and saving to fixture. Is that correct?

I will try tonight. Thanks for the help Keith. Appreciate the immediate and prompt replies. Support is often overlooked when buying anything, but you have been a great help. Thank you!!!
