Anyone know if the X4 suits my tank? (100x75x70) or should i go for the X6? Planning on more lps and a bit of sps

Hello Does the unit save all settings when power is removed or must the time and setting be re-programmed?

Have a x8 and it does not hold the clock on power outage even if brief.

May still have a clock loosing time, when power lost. Does the unit keep its time for a power outage of an hour etc?

Lamp should keep its settings when disconnnected from power if im not mistaken. Ill test it tomorrow.

Hello Christian,

normally you dont see a Disco ball effect. I guess that this dealer use way too much red. You only have a Effekt like this in Corners if you really use too much red.

Thousand of People at Interzoo could see that our Sirius dont not generate effects like this.

Also, using too much red is very dangerous. We recommand to use red at max. 25-30%. Otherwise we may see negative effects on corals. The red channel is only to make some little cosmetic effect if wanted. Corals dont really need red light. Please Keep this in mind....

What would be the best lighting combo for a small frag tank with a sirius X1. I am thinking of converting a small 10 or 20 gallon tank to grow my frags in...

Its is lps and soft dominated with some of sps.

Id go with the X4... Tank will have light everywhere.
X2 is just a bit too small, although you can raise the light a bit higher so you'll have no dark spots. Keep in mind that the heigt of your tank is 'high'... Dont think the softies will be affected by this, lps will be fine with correct placement.

I'd go with the X4, you won't be running the thing at peak usage / power then as well. + it opens a lot more options if you decide to get rid of those softies and go more lps/sps
