I'm completely new with SWF and i was wondering if u could help me out.
I went to a pet store an i saw they had an Atlantic Anemone in a Eclipse System 6. I have an Eclipse 12 and it has a very poor 13w flourescent light. I got a mushroom coral with the LR i bought and its doing great. Will the Atlantic Anemone be compatible with the Mantis and survive with the poor lighting. The guy at the pet store said it didn't need full spectrum lighting.
I don't have the mantis yet, but i'm getting it on Saturday and its a Peacok.
Also, I have noticed a lot of algae is growing on the rocks. Should i just leave it there or is there sumthing that will eat it or clean it up.
Finally, I want a little bit of green to brighten my tank after i saw Tim's luxury tank. Aren't there plants that eat nitrates or sumthing. They just need to be able to flourish with the lighting and etc.
I'm just looking for sumthing to liven my tank up.
Thanks
