I was there last winter while on a cruise... the tank was pretty cool, but I dont think I would go to the resort for a vacation from what I saw. Nassau is one of the places in the Carribean that I have no interest in ever going back to....

That is definitely an amazing tank and set-up. But dont be confused with this guys tank and the great Hotel on Paradise Island. I think this guy is in New York somewhere. I was at the Atlantis resort 3 years ago, and there was nothing as nice as this there.

that aquarium is up in new york. its where the long island reef club is hosting the north east reef aquarium conference this weekend. they have a post a little farther down on our forum.

yup, ive been to atlantis on paradise island too. been about 7 years ago. the lagoon fish ponds were pretty cool with all the plexi glass tunnels for viewing under water. nassau was a good stop for a couple days, but we just anchored our boat at yaghthaven marina across the canal and over the bridge from atlantis. right across from Huricane Hole hotel and marina. just a rest stop on a3 week fishing/ snorkling island hopping trip.

LOL.... yea, Im at work and got called away for emergency computer repairs before I got a chance to read the details... the first pic looked pretty similar to the viewing area I saw in Nassau... I was wodnering why it looked better than I remembered.... hehe..

Ken- sounds like an awsome trip!! sign me up for the next one..

Yoh-K Eric, next time my old fishing buddie gets married again. that trip was his bachelor party. I was down in Florida for that month to be his best man in the wedding. so when all the plans were done and set, a few of us hopped on a friends yacht and went fishing for 3 weeks. It was a blast. got him back in town the night before the wedding.
