Atlas moth pic

I went to the Toronto Zoo recently, and inside the butterfly pavilion there are some 6-10" atlas moths - they're HUGE, and gorgeous, so I tried very hard to get a decent picture with my ancient point and shoot digital camera. I think I got a pretty good shot, this moth was about 8" across with a body as large as my thumb.

the moth and butterfly walk thru exhibits at the zoo are always neat. did you see a lot of their cocoons in the incubator? I am going to take some good pics next week of some similar stuff, going on a vacation to Gatlinburg, TN and will be going to the local zoo!! and ripleys aquarium! nice pic! nice to see an Asian moth in North America LoL!
