How did you acclimate your sps from halide/t5 combo?
What was your experience? How did your corals respond? Thank you.

So my tank now has a 24" Gieseman infinity in the middle and AI Sols on each end. Wanting to remove the Gieseman and throw in two Radions in the middle but hesitant to make the move away from halides completely. Especially now that the corals are starting to do better both growth and colours. However I rally like the colours that LEDs put out.
Any thoughts out there would be appreciated!!
Just my .02 cents...
If your tank is doing great, corals are coloring up and growing, why would you make such a drastic change? I completely understand you like the colors the LED's put out and I'm 100% sure you'll have success with most of your corals under only Radion's... However... Why mess up what's doing so well already? Don't let it get to you! Let your corals grow and flourish.

Thanks.
I hear you. I had a reefbreeder before and was close to being successful. The corals grew but the colours were off. I liked the dusk to dawn effect. Seeing it ramp up and down makes for a very natural appearance.
Like others, there are reasons why I want to go LED.
What lighting system are you using?
I had Reefbreeders as well and had great success with growth. My corals exploded, however like you mentioned, my colors weren't that great. Although my buddy ran Reefbreeders and had insane growth and colors.
I agree, with the dawn/dusk effect. I'm currently using an ATI T5 SunPower. This is the first fixture that doesn't have that "dawn/dusk" effect. Just on/off. I came from Hydra 26 HD's which I had great success with in terms of coloration and growth. My Wifi sucks upstairs in my house (3 story house) and my tank was on the third story so my lights would often disconnect and not reconnect to wifi. I got sick of it and went plug and play. I do miss them, I did really enjoy them. Even though I've seen double the growth ever since going to ATI.
If the wifi goes out, do the hds go dark?
No sir. It holds its configurations you set it too.
Now, once you find the sweet spot, you don't need to tweet it.
However, I moved and added a third over my tank, so I was trying to find the sweet spot again. I also just picked up 15 frags that I was trying to acclimate. Bad WIFI connection just wasn't working out for me.
I talked with them yesterday, and they told me the hds have their own wifi server, shouldn't you be able to do everything without connecting to your house wifi?
Hmmm, I'm not sure? I was never able to work on their settings via internet without being on my house WIFI.
Prior at my parents house, before I moved out, I had great reception in my bedroom and WIFI were on full bars at all times, on my parents internet.
So basically instead of doing it via the internet, you'd install their app on your phone, and connect your phone to the wifi broadcast by the lights themselves to modify the settings. At least from my understanding of their explanation.
