August Meeting - Collin's 2nd Annual Old Fashioned Frag Swap w/Fragging Demo

Only three more days everyone!

And with that, here are the Final Details

Location 31 Amber Trail, Madison, CT 06443

Time Doors open at 12pm / CTARS Raffle at 3pm

PLEASE ONLY PARK TO ONE SIDE OF THE STREET AND IN THE CHURCH ACROSS THE STREET

Fragging will be taking place in the backyard and will be done by our own PL_Reef. He will be using a Gryphon Aquasaw and will be able to show anyone that would like how the process happens.

Depending on how long it takes to frag up the colonies will influence when the exact pulling of everyone's frags will happen. Also, the exact number of frags/type will depend on how many frags we end up with (IE you can take an acan frag OR a blasto frag). That will all be decided once the final tally is in. Everyone will leave with multiple frags.

I will have all the names printed out on pieces of paper, to be drawn from a hat. The person that just chose their frags, will then pick the next person and so on.

Dinner will take place after the CTARS raffle. SaltySammy has offered to make us a giant pot of chili for everyone to enjoy. Tweaked will also be smoking hot dogs for us. I will also be cooking up some BBQ Chicken for those who don't care for the red meat. And of course, we have the side dishes all of you are bringing. There will be beer, soda, and water.

If you are bringing along corals to trade or sell, please find me when you arrive and I'll show you where you can stash your frags.

Last but not least, I encourage everyone to attend. It may be too late to buy in to the frags. But it is definitely NOT too late to come and pick up a raffle prize, or a frag or two from one of the vendors.

I have nuclear green nepthea frags, $10 each or frag trade - these are not mounted on anything. My chaeto also needs a trim if anyone needs some. I'm not charging for that.

I was hoping he would pull the trigger on those donations. When Ryan mentioned it to me, I was like oh man

I'm not sure if this was talked about but any idea if the vendors will be accepting cards or is this a cash only event? I know at the FFM a lot of people had their little cars reader. Oh or even paypal? Or mayb Collin has an ATM on site? I never have cash on me.

AZN will have the ability to accept Credit Cards, and just waiting to here back from Ryan but I believe they do as well.

Anyone have some different colored euphyllia for sale or trade? I have the typical green/purples and was hoping for something a little different. Thanks!
