As far as margaritas go...hmmm. I will have to think about that one. I really am a huge fan of margaritas myself, so I would not turn it down if you guys brought that.

Art chips and salsa would be good!
I'm also sure that Brent (after working half the day that day) would not turn down beer.

Ok so everybody ready for a noon meeting tomorrow?
Bad news about the canopy situation though. I will not be able to have it up on the tank for the meeting.
I took off last week some to stain and sand/seal/varnish it but it was so humid from all the rain that the different coats would not dry. Then I got hurt at the beginning of this week and have not been able to work on it until last night. All I have left is one more round of sanding then varnishing and it should be fine. Since you need to let it dry for more than 24h before you put the thing up there, it won't be ready in time.
So you will all just have to see it with my ghetto-looking lighting system. I'm ok with it. Just wanted to tell everyone ahead of time.

Hey Brandon, I'll just post directions!!
Directions to Mel and Brent’s new house:
From UT area, turn L onto Gallaher View (whether you are coming off the interstate, from Middlebrook, or from Kingston). After you cross Kingston, go through a stop sign and a bunch of very sharp curves, and then turn L onto Gallaher Station. Turn R onto Station View. Turn L onto Spring Haven. The house is 8125 Spring Haven Ln, but it won’t map with most mapping programs. If you want to map it, try mapping 821 Station View (K TN 37919) and then when you get there, just turn L onto Spring Haven.
If you are coming from further out west or even from Farragut, then just turn R onto Gallaher View and then do the same stuff as above.
If you are coming from anywhere around Westland then just turn onto Gallaher View (there’s a light at which you can only turn one way and then you cross some train tracks) and turn R onto Gallaher Station (it’s the second street) then do the same as above.
You guys coming on the interstate from out west (or Chattanooga), will have to get off at the Bridgewater, Walker Springs, Gallaher View exit and just go through a couple of lights (basically just keep going straight though some lights) then you will come to Gallaher View Rd and that's where you'd turn R.

I'm new to the hobby, and to Tennessee. Do I need to be a club memeber to come? I thought it would be nice for my fiance and I to come by to meet new people and pick some brains about aquarium keeping.

Hi, our meetings are pretty much open to everyone. Most people who come to one meeting end up joining because it's such a great group of people. But there's not like any real pressure to join, especially if you want to just come and check it out and decide later.
