Australian Starfish!

Does anyone keep or have access to Patiriella parvivipara? These sound great. They live in tidepools in south Australia, are bright orange yellow, give birth to live young. They sound cool. They are self fertilizing, so breeding is not a problem, they only grow to 1" so size isn't a problem, they eat meat so feeding shouldn't be a problem and the young are cannibals, so overpopulation shouldn't be a problem.

I don't believe I've seen those in the hobby before. Infact I think the only "bat starfish" I ever seen available is Patiria pectinifera which is cold water and grows big and destructive. Pretty rare but my one lfs had them in a couple times.

Yeah, Betta, I thought about that after I posted. At the time I thought, wow, it will eat krill and mysis, but later I thought, Doh! What about Zoas! And yeah, Joe, sounds like it would be a cold water star.
