Auto top off not working

You wire it so the two floats look like a W with a wire nut on the middle tow wires

After that one float wire goes to the relay, and the other goes to 12v power, then the one 12v power lead goes to the relay.

that's how i did it. i have it wired correctly both the switches work just not how i want them to work.
 
there is a good diagram for setting up a dual float ATO some where on here, i may even have shared the photo at some point. search my posts. I would relink the photo but i can't access photo bucket from work and cell service where i am isn't good enough to do it either.

The way it works now is they both must be lifted together to turn off. My jbj works that way for some reason too which seems pointless
 
take one float wire off the relay, and one 12v power wire off the relay, and connect those two together.


You should ONLY have one float wire and one power wire going to relay.
