Awais' 120g Build

I was able to put it all together!

It did leak as it wasnt tight enough, just tightened and it's leak proof.

A large 5"x20" main reactor and a small 3x10" secondary with a co2 recirc from the main top.

Started last night

I just have to slowly dial it in. I started at 40 bpm co2 and about effluent 40 ml/ min, set at start at ph > 6.5

That reactor looks very nice. I hope it works as well as it looks. It's a shame I didn't gave the space to do this also.

And as always everyone was right!!! Grrrr Milwaukee regulator solenoid was malfunctioning!!!!!
off on its own despite power on to it and the ph in the reactor was reading 7.9!!!!!
The ph controller is set to on when ph is above 6.5!
Is this how Milwaukee is? If so I will return it, got it from amazon.

And get the expensive digital one plant aquatics

Milwaukee controllers are pretty reliable so I'd think the regulators would be also. When the solenoid is supposed to open can you hear 'click' as it opens? If so, did you open the needle valve to verify no bubbles come out and the solenoid isn't working?

The needle valves can be kind of finicky and sometimes need to be adjusted.

Oh, is the CO2 tank new so you are sure it is full?

Co2 tank is full.
The black knob is dialed in so I have enough pressure dialed in.
Solenoid dies click on off.
This particular time, I saw that the ph was 7.9 and there was pressure in the 2nd dial, I turned the needle valve thinking there must be the issue. Nothing happened.
I turned off the ph controller and on again and the solenoid now switched on as ph was 7.9& and bubbles came.
So it tells me the solenoid wasn't working!!
Or could it be the ph controller itself not supplying power to solenoid???

Now I wish I checked the power in the outlet when this happened!!!!

If you had to point finger at: solenoid malfunction or the ph controller????

Does your ph controller not indicate when in alarm? Mine flashes red when the solenoid is triggered.
