AWESOME Rainbow Macroalgae

I've been digging through some old pics and came across these. This one came in from I think Indonesia a few years ago and was the nicest thing I'd ever seen, unfortunately it died over the course of a few weeks but the pics still remind me of its ridiculousness. Enjoy the eye candy :)

Gorgeous, its amazing what macros are out there! Always on the lookout at LFS, I've found the best way to get awesome/unique macros is to find them as hitchhikers on liverock or corals. My LFS are getting used to me asking for a tiny bit of that random algae on a coral LOL :D

How about a pic retrospective. I remember seeing your pics years ago but don't remember specifics. I'm pretty sure your stuff was what made me get into macros in the first place.

Check out pg 112 of South Pacific Reef Plants by Littler & Littler. While not the correct species it may be the correct genus-Chrysymenia. May be a starting point for sp ID. Google image is worthless in this regard

I'm digging through some old ones and hoping to find my old favorites, definitely miss having a macro tank but the nicest ones were so finicky that when they died I just kinda gave it up.
