This is a video of clownfish in the wild in Palau.

The anemones appear to be "bleached." I wonder why. Was the water water too warm? Were they very deep in the water?
Is it their natural coloring? What else would cause this in the wild? Any ideas?

The water could be warm due to global warming causing them to bleach, who knows unless we had data on the environment

Ididn't realize one clown would move between different anemones. I guess I just thought they just stayed in one anemone all the time.

Still wondering if it is their natural coloration or if they are for some reason unhealthy in the wild?

I am guessing H. magnifica for the first camera shot. The second shot resembles H. crispa but ......certain details are not visible.

Not all white nems are bleached, there are some naturally white/yellowish in color.
Not sure what kind those are, usually ID's are are better determined by seeing disc/base/veracue.

Oh, and tank in my avatar had both an LTA (M. doreensis)and sebae(h.cripsa).
They were host to Clarki, Maroons, and skunks, and all would go back and forth across tank to both nems.

Details were mentioned. Any ideas why are these anemones so pale in the wild?

Are the sebae naturally white? Mine is White with blue tips.
