Baby blue polyp tort

Here is something interesting I noticed the other day. I've had this tort for probably close to 2 years. Never paid much attention to it. I thought the tips were turning blue which I thought, Oh cool. Closer inspection though surprised me with baby blue polyps. The base color is a dull army green-brown. Here are a couple pics. I've learned to really never give up on a coral. It can be months to years before you see something interesting coming out. You never know what is going to happen.

Thanks Doom. I'm not exactly sure what it is either. It was sold to me as a tort from a guy who is pretty experienced. I almost killed it a while back so it may not be your typical shaped Cali tort, etc. I'm gonna see if I can dig up the pick from the guy I got it from.

Here's the original pic I got from the guy who sold me the coral. It never looked like this in my tank. Probably because he had 20K's.

I think this is Miyagi tort (A.austera)
that is what Ithought when I saw the first picture. I could never get mine to color up until I switched to 20k.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Didn't think about the austera. I got it mail order from a guy in Southern Cal, can't remember what city he's in.
