Baby sepia bandensis shy??

I feed live mysid and amphipods but never see him eat, food goes missing and he's pooping so I wonder if he's shy, I watch he sits. I walk away he starts swimming around, could it be he's hunting at night?? He was born last Friday, I had three baby sepias before him and they ate aggressively this one has mysid swim right in front of him and nothing
