Please post your results from the ammonia levels and switching over to the instant algae i would like to know if it makes a difference, I just got my starter pack from reed as well, i almost ordered the IA stuff but for 70 a bottle, i thought I'll keep bubbling my own for now

He loves those BBS !
Yeah i thought $70 was a little too much, I order my IA from seahorsesource.com.
It's $12.75 for the 125 ml and $20.75 for the 250 ml bottle. Smaller bottles and easier on the pocket $$$.
IA - SeahorseSource
Ammonia still high tonight, so it's another 50% water change and a little Prime.

Yeap. According to the Reed's website, it's 3600 X as dense as cultured algae. I only use 6 drops a day (per container) in my 1/2 gallon rotifer cultures.

Nice; look at all the little ones, best of luck with them.
I placed an order for some rotifer diet from reed's I talked with Randy Reed this morning and he was explaining how i can use this stuff instead of growing my own, and it was a little easier on the pocketbook than the 3600 bottle. I hope it works out as my phyto has taken a turn for the worse it seems.
How has the ammonia issue been since you switched to the IA?
