Rob you are driving me nuts with these great pics. You have one beautiful reef. That Blue Matrix is insane. Where can I get one from?

Your tank is just > :smokin:

THanks Bro!! im glad you like the tank, the original blue Matrix was named by Tubs and was Alex Paguntalan ROAB piece, I got this piece as a 3" wild colony through a co. that brough a shipment from Bali. so the origin is the same one. is a very slow grower but in almost 2 years has double the size, i haven't touch the colony yet is one of the nicest acro i've seen, I know Atlantis used to have small frags, not sure if they still have them, I definatelly can put you in the list ;) when i frag this baby "The ROBZ Blue Matrix" :D

here is the original info on the Blue Matrix

Reeffarmers Auctions

here is my Matrix, I should take a pics without the actinics but is about the same bright blue color.

Thanks for the info Rob. I may have actually had a piece a couple months back that I lost due to an alk spike. I also had it directly under the 250w halide and it appeared a lighter shade of blue. Definitely one of my favorite corals in your tank thus far.

Wow, amazing progress. I've known Robie for years and he ALWAYS comes through with awesome clean & healthy systems. Great job broski!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTM x 2 !

Broskie!!! good to see you here man!!! thanks for the Kudos ;), but lots of my corals came from your store bud:bum: I definitely see you on April for some more cherry picking , UH YEA WACHUNAME!!!!

Thanks Mark, I know is really hard to score a good rare wild colony but well worth it the wait there are beautiful maricultured pieces out there but the old school goodies you don't see much around:) unless pass by generations. wich is important...

I couldn't agree more. Many of the pieces in my tank were wild pieces that have been in the hobby from back in the day. The maricultured stuff is worth the try once and awhile, but there is nothing like growing out old school pieces and distributing to other reef nuts like us. :p
