I have always painted the back of my tanks blue. just because i like the look. but the 65g tank i just picked up is painted black . do you think this will have a negative effect on my seahorses ,should i scrap it and repaint it blue?
I painted the back of my seahorse tank black. I just thought it would look better with the black overflow box, my black stand and black furniture in my house. My seahorses are very happy, however they don't change colors as some people think they should. They still have the same color/patterns that they had when they were in my unpainted quarantine tank.
I removed the black on one of my seahorse tanks and painted it red and orange and then did the ends and bottom as well. It didn't help.
Aquamarine International recommended using sky blue so I tried that and one of my reidi regained a lot of it's red colour, with another regaining some of the orange.
