Bandomo's ReefBox: A New Journey...

Bahahaha, you guys are to funny! Eddie, let me know how that little tool for the spiral cable wrap turns out. It was a real pain in the butt spiraling the cable wrap around the wires, especially in tight areas with limited space. Also one thing that I really really liked was the Velcro zip ties. They turned out to be extremely useful and is something that I'll definitely be using more and more. Here's a link...

Danny, as mentioned in a previous post, I somewhat struggled with the design of my sump. I needed to make a couple modifications. Rather than using 2 x 4" round filter socks, I replaced it with just one 7" rectangular filter sock. For me, it was a quick and easy fix to my problem. Link...

Awesome Jeovany. I need me one of those. I heard they are on back order in most places. Where did you get it from?, and$$

It was purchased from MarineDepot for $99. I singed up for the email notification once it was back in stock.

Eddie, I've seen them at All pets.

Jovanny, did you make the sock holders?
No. The 2 x 4" filter sock version was part of my original design that was built by Bob at Exotic Aquariums. I wanted something simple that can easily be removed to replace the individual filter socks. The concept worked out perfectly. The 2nd one was done by Melve's Reef.

Finally got the chance to installed the new filter sock, added a skimmer stand, and officially running carbon. Hoping the water will be crystal clear tomorrow so that I can finally post a FTS :)

But before that, there's one last piece of the puzzle....
Let there be light....

So jealous. That's what I would have got. Stuck with my Radions for now. Maybe we can compare notes later, but I suspect you will kick my arse with that bad boy! That there is the perfect light IMHO!

No need to be jealous, I was actually more excited about the Radion's then the ATI Hybrid. The software is light years away from ESL, and I mean that in a bad way. I know most people complain about ESL, but personally I've never encountered any problems. I must admit, the ATI Hybrid is slowly growing on me thou. The true test is once I start adding SPS. You planning on upgrading to the G3 or G3 Pro? Don't knock the Radions, they're fantastic fixtures and I've had great success with them in the past. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Just wanted to try a new toy and took advantage of some Black Friday deals that were going on. I tend to be brand loyal and absolutely love Ecotech for their product innovations and customer support. As Ecotech Marine evolves as a company, I'm sure most of my equipment will follow. But for the time being, I plan on sticking with the ATI Hybrid for the next 2-3 years.

I'm actually kinda bummed, I feel like my build thread is over :(
All that is left is the Saltwater Mixing Station and that should be a relatively simple project.

Time for fish, corals, and.....patience.

Dayum, nice crib!;)

No plans on upgrading to G3. I upgraded to Pros and I'm staying there. I haven't even turned the damned things on yet! Have had them for almost 2 years, LOL!

Love the scape. I hope I can have as much restraint as you. But my NEED for LOTS of sticks is probably going to prevent that. This should be epic!
