Bare bottom and LTA?

I'm going bare bottom in my 200 gallon show tank and have great success with bta's in my 120 that anchor to the rocks. I would love to have a purple or other color morph LTA in the show tank. I would probably keep only it and leave the bta's in the other tank.

Has anyone had success with a LTA in a bare bottom tank? I have had local reefers claim success but thought I would seek greater consensus.

I just went bare bottom and I have a Haddoni, which is another sand dweller. It just attached itself to a rock, which is what they do anyway with sand. They still attach to a rock or bottom of your tank with or without sand. It should be fine.

M doreensis are sand bed dwelling anemones, and will not stay settled in in a BB tank. Been keeping them off and on for the last 15 years, and any time the sand bed is less than 3 inches I have had issues with them, same with S. haddonis, which I have been keeping for 15 years straight.

Everyone I know that tried an LTA in a BB had problems, they never settled, even w/ the tupperware of sand trick.
There are other rock dwellars that would be better suited.
