Battery Backup for Tunze's

I am pretty sure that Tunze doesn't make a UPS backup for the streams. I have two 6101's and wanted to buy a UPS for them. Does anyone have any experience with this? What I want to know is how long I can keep the 6101's going at half power with a UPS? More specifically will a 800W UPS power them for about 6 hours?

I've run a 6101 for more than 24hr with a safety connector and a 30AH battery. This is WAY longer than you would get with even a much larger UPS.

Thanks...I'll read the post when I get a second. My main question would be about the battery. Do you have to recharge the battery every so often?

Ideally you connect the battery to an automatic trickle charger. The 6105.50 is superior to a UPS system because it doesn't waste power converting from DC to AC and back to DC so it gives you a longer life and more versatility. For example if your back up dies you can use lantern batteries or you can charge your battery with a solar panel.
