I said the first morning when I showed up that they should just come at night and kill the thing, it has turned into a public relations nightmare for the Riverhead Foundation. I heard that they had someone in from Mass. with equipment better suited to euthanize it. Not sure if it worked or not, but they are going to open it up on the beach and figure out what was wrong with it and then bring it to the dump instead of just burrying it. Last time they burried a whale we had a serious number of sharks off shore .
