I remember the picture you sent me when you got them. They are impressive. I'm feel like the last guy rocking generation 2! Pro.

With the 4 fixtures, I'm getting 650 to 700 par 18" below the water line with the lights 8" off the water at full blast... all colors and channels at 100 percent. I'll work on a a pic with par readings if I get some time this weekend.

So I guess a rock nem decided to eat one of my loose OG shrooms in the container with rubble. Probably blew across it. Well that sucks lmao

Is the rock nem LE now? Wth

I guess I was tricked into a FTS. I need more sticks. The few I have are finally doing well. Long slow road lol

Are any of the LPS on the bottom getting bleached with those numbers, or are you placing those in the "shade"? From the FTS, all of the colors look great!

The numbers are showing full power and all colors. I'm running the lights using the AB Plus Schedule with more blue and less white added at 65%.

So no they aren't bleaching because the tank isn't getting 400 on the sand bed normally hehe

Oh, got ya. So what are the numbers at during your normal schedule?

And the acros are actually still alive. I'm going to need some more sticks here pretty soon.

Still not changing water. :)

Other than it being a pain in the a$$ and cost, is there a particular reason you're not changing water. Are you doing Triton? Or is it simply because you've been able to get away with it without the water parameters becoming an issue?

Just wondering.

Um, I have the salt and mixing station. Its just the last couple of years with babies, and other Dad projects I simply just haven't made the time. I have occasionally cleaned and changed out the refugium water, but its only maybe 20 gallons, like two times in two years.

No not doing Triton. I think those ICP tests are unreliable. I am tracking my parameters with a Trident, and dosing Brightwell Replenish trace. My parameters have been very stable and I'm adding back depleted trace elements.

My tank took forever though to reach this point, and honestly I'd have a ton of algae if I didn't have a tang army. I need to check my nitrates and phosphates as I'm not sure where they are at right now. But other than some aiptasia finally everything is looking great. Knock on wood.

Awesome! Yeah, I'm just getting back in and have concluded that 3 kids, 2 dogs, a backyard to take care of, and a wife to make happy won't leave me too much extra time. Since it'll be a while until my tank is on auto-pilot, I'm just going to do auto-water changes with an APEX DOS.
