Bean's 300 Gallon AGE Build

What's going on with this??? Thought it would be wet and full of corals by now!!??

Nothing really. I did get a MP60 and one of the multi swirls I needed this past weekend. We've been at the new place about a week and a half... getting packed/ unpacked and dialing in everything is taking a while.

I'm hoping in a few weeks I'll start the plumbing. I'm going to cycle the rock in the tank so it will definitely be a while before I get corals in it. I've got TONS of BRS Pukani but don't know which I want to use for my scape and rather work with it dry in my garage... once the garage is cleaned out. Freakin nightmare.

Oh you've just moved in a week ago? Thought that happened like last month!

It'll feel slower cycling in the tank but you will also be able to design the perfect scape, totally worth it.

We had to be out of our old place the 15th.

I'll get there don't worry guys. I'll be begging for frags when the time comes! :) :frog::rollface:

My 90g AGE tank should be here in a few days and I was wondering what you thought about the quality and build by AGE so far? I hope the silicone seams are perfect or near perfect as I'm real picky about nice seams. Thanks.

clear silicone is best as you do not see it as much. lol. my 450 looked great only one small spot I did not like. at the end of the day its what inside after there is water in it.

You won't be disappointed. I'm very happy with mine. Its a built like a "tank". I went with black silicone.

Even empty, I'm really enjoying the looks on friends faces when they see it in person in my little house! hahaha

LOL! It's still in Oakland now. They need to ship it to my local Roadrunner Depot so they can schedule delivery. I should just post my build thread here!:)

May be I will join u let's hi jack Cody build thread....:lolspin:

Update! Well not really. I'm hoping to get the plumbing and aquascape going in a few more weeks. Trying to get my garage cleaned out.

I ordered 2 more Sea Swirl Multi Swirls (for a total of 3)... almost $300 each. Sheesh! I'm out of tank funds haha

I still need-

1. Sand- Probably going with Caribsea Special Grade again. I'm not sure how much. I want to do less, so only maybe an inch or two so I can vacuum it if necessary.
2. Misc. plumbing parts
3. T5 Lamps
4. EMarco 400 or similar
5. Rods or PVC for some rock pillars
6. 100 to 200 Gallon- Tall Cylinder Tank

Down the road-

5. Calcium Reactor
6. More Flow Pumps
8. Probably something else I'm forgetting.

No progress other than that sorry!
